Accepting the YT Downloader Terms of Use
By opening or using YT Downloader you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. We may update the terms, and the Updated date at the top shows when they last changed.
What the service is
YT Downloader is a free, online tool that lets you paste a YouTube link, choose a format and quality, and save the media to your own device. No account, login, watermark or software installation is required.
What you agree to do
Downloading others' media without permission may violate copyright rules and YouTube's Terms of Service. You are responsible for the content you choose to save and for how you use it.
- Save only content you own, content in the public domain, or content you have permission to save.
- Use saved files for personal purposes, such as offline viewing, listening or study.
- Do not repost, redistribute or sell content you saved with the tool.
- Do not use the site to break the law or to interfere with how it works.
What cannot be saved
Some content cannot be saved. Private videos, age-restricted or region-blocked content, live streams, and some copyright-protected videos can't be saved. We also cannot offer a quality that was never uploaded, so 4K is available only when the original file is in 4K.
No affiliation
YT Downloader is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to YouTube or Google. YouTube is a trademark of its owner and is named here only to describe what the tool works with.
Availability and liability
The service is provided as it is. We work to keep it fast and reliable but cannot promise it will always be available or that every file will save. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for loss or damage arising from your use of the tool or from content you choose to save.
Copyright requests
If you own content and believe it is being misused in connection with this site, follow the steps on the DMCA page and we will review your notice.
